Austin Bridger graduated with a B.S. in Statistics from NC State in May 2023. He has worked as a counselor at Camp JuMP over the last eight years, starting as the token “fun guy” and accumulating greater responsibilities over time. Austin gained leadership experience by running games and acting rotations and creating an energetic, fun, and educational experience for the campers. In this position, he also gave acting directions to kids, cleaned scenes and dances for the productions, and in more recent years blocked full scenes for the shows. Austin’s acting experience includes high school productions of Tarzan: The Musical (Young Tarzan/Professor), The Wizard of Oz (Tin Man), and The Addams Family Musical (Gomez Addams) at his high school, and a professional production of Matilda the Musical at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte his senior year (Big Kid Ensemble). Also during his high school career, Austin wrote and directed his own thirty-minute one act play, one of the highlights of his high school theatre experience. Austin is currently a Data Analyst at OneMain Financial, and having found himself missing his work in theatrical productions, especially with kids, he was inspired to start Untitled with Ainsley and Brooke. He is excited to contribute his array of theatre experiences to Untitled and continue to help young performers reach their full potentials.
